The walk starts at Harford Moor Gate. Walk back down the road to Harford and then over Harford Bridge, then take the track on the right up to Burford Down.

...Head north through Yadsworthy Waste and the gate onto the open moor. Continue north up the hill to the track, turn right and follow this to the water intake

...Follow the left bank of the Erme, until a steep high slope forces you up onto Stall Moor. This is where you need to look for the stone circle - much easier if you use the GPS!

...We crossed the Erme a little further on at Erme Pound, but note this is only possible in dry weather.
...From Hook Lake ( a valley with a stream ) the path climbs south over open moorland to reach the tramway.

...and from Piles Hill we left the Two Moors Way to follow a grassy path down to Harford Moor Gate again.
